This wireless keypad is specially designed for use with automatic garage door and gate operators, providing a secure radio format with over a million different codes. To operate, users simply enter their unique code on the keypad (ranging from 1 to 6 digits) and press a button to activate the door operator. The keypad can be re-triggered within 30 seconds after the last activation by pressing the button again, allowing for quick stops or reversals without re-entering the code.

Additionally, the keypad features built-in backlit keys with a soft blue glow, making it suitable for nighttime or dark areas. Users can easily activate the backlight by pressing a button. The keypad lockout timer disables the keypad after 10 activations, requiring a 30-second idle period before new attempts.

Programming the receiver is done by transmitting a signal from a user’s transmitter, storing the code into the receiver’s memory. The receiver can retain its memory even without power and will only activate from these memorized transmitters. Each keypad code is treated as a unique transmitter, and each receiver can store up to 10 transmitter codes, allowing for a combination of portable transmitters and keypad codes.

The keypad has a light gray (off-white) exterior color and a hinged cover to protect it from the elements. This newest version replaces the previous Linear keypad model LPWKP and DNT00058 MDTK keypads. It operates on a 318MHz radio frequency and is compatible with various Linear garage door opener models.
